Travel times from Brownstone EC Location
- 200m (ie. around 3 minutes) walk to the future Canberra MRT station (expected to open by 2019), which is around 27 minutes train ride to the Orchard MRT station.
- It is also a direct train ride, around 35 – 40 minutes, to Raffles City and Marina Bay. No need to change trains even.
- The Brownstone location is 5km drive via Woodlands Avenue 12 to the Seletar Expressway. Then westwards from there towards the Bukit Timah Expressway, or eastwards to the Tampines Expressway (and Changi), or to the Central Expressway.
- The route south will be shortened in future once the North-South Highway is completed.

THE PIERMONT GRAND EC SHOWFLAT BY CITY DEVELOPMENTS & TID
After successfully launching Brownstone EC in Sembawang, City Developments is once again targeting the executive condominium market. This time with the Piermont Grand Sumang EC in Punggol, at Sumang Link. CDL seems to have a penchant for naming their executive condos with quite classy names actually. First Brownstone to evoke the brown stone architecture of Manhattan, and now Piermont Grand.
Both ECs are within walking distance of an MRT station, though it must be said that Brownstone is a lot nearer a station, being only 3 minutes walk from it. The Piermont Grand EC is about 11 to 12 minutes walk from Punggol MRT station, but has the advantage of Waterway Point at the station.
CDL has announced that the Piermont Grand EC showflat will open for viewing and e-applications in mid 2019. Likely to be around June to July. This is the only EC to launch this year, so even with 820 units to dispose of, sales is expected to be robust.
